Sound Design for Videos

Here is a nice video showing what can be done with sound design and music inside of a dorm room or apartment studio. This one minute film combines sound effects, music, and narration that can all be made on a single computer without any extreme equipment. The sound effects can be found online or made on any music production program. The music obviously can be made on any number of programs, and the narration can be recorded with simple computer microphones. The quality may not be perfect, but for most purposes it should do fine.

When thinking about making an apartment recording studio try to remember all the ways that you can save space. Looking at what projects have been done and what they required is a good way to do this.
