This book was hard to put down! If you like non-stop action read the sequel Afghan Sunset first then read Capital Crimes ( A Jackson Pike novel) book 2. I am hoping there is a book 3 which I can't hardly wait for. These were exciting reading!!!!Product details

A good yarn simply written for the literature challenged.
I would like to recommend this book to anyone that wants to read a very good and interesting book. I will be looking forward to reading the next book from this author.
Gripping story. Highly recommend. Cannot wait for the next book. Intrigue and cliff hanging at its best. Treat yourself tiday
The editing was less than stellar. His use of the phrase "the most powerful man on earth" became old very fast, especially since it was obvious that even he answered to a higher power as well.
SPOILER ALERT!! The author didn't finish the book where it is a stand alone novel. It is a cliff hanger. Its almost like reading a paperback and finding out someone has ripped out the last half of the chapter. I prefer books that leave something wrapped up, but this one just drops off. Personally I wish that the characters had been fleshed out a bit more. JMHO.
Still like the story so will continue to read on to find out what happens next. Liked 90% so easier to write what didn't like at the expense of sounding negative despite being a good book. Seems the editing needed to be more thorough as there was one place (think location 2035 on kindle fire) where Marshal Collins meeting director about Marshal MacDonald's disappearance and the story said that Collins had disappeared but Collins was telling story and then another place where I couldn't even understand the short paragraph because words were left out or transposed or both - read 5x but then just moved on. This book left the reader totally hanging with no real apparent ending and the fact that Jackson is like Superman and able to travel less than 12 hrs after bullet to chest and apparently has 9 lives makes him seem unrealistic, even though he is a SEAL. Love that Jackson has feelings and isn't afraid to show them, but just seemed like he had too many tears in this book. All in all, it was a good book and a quick read at less than 200 pages.
I like Jackson Pike, however $10 for a 188 page book is way out of line. The ending leaves a lot to be desired, it ends in the middle of the story.
Jackson Pike reads true. The hero is flawed but believable,the story line is easy to follow and unfortunately to easy to believe. Great job!
